ATTRIBUTES
Color: Vibrant garnet hue with a deep purple core.
Aromatics: Tobacco, tar and dark mocha with a dusting of vanilla and framboise
Palate: Rich and mouth-filling with ripe flavors of cassis, dark chocolate with coffee, huckleberry, cinnamon and wet gravel
Structure: Depth and length with a perfect balance of acidity and tannin along with super-fine tannins, richness and weight, and great persistence in a long finish.

VINTAGE 2015
The 2015 growing season in Napa Valley will be remembered for early warm temperatures and bud break. Late Spring brought colder weather at the height of bloom, resulting in inconsistent fruit set and a smaller crop. Luckily we were blessed with only exceptional quality grapes despite an early harvest. 

Winemaker Miquel Caratachea has again crafted an elegant, gorgeous wine from almost 100 lots primarily sourced from hillside Napa Valley and other premium sites. The wines received great care with frequent barrel topping and "délestage," which gently extracts the phenolic compounds by oxygenating the juice to produce a softer, less astringent wine exhibiting more fruit character. 

Vitesse shares the timeless characteristics of many luxury Cabernets: concentration, depth and layered nuance. This wine tantalizes with lavish aromas of ripe cherry, tobacco, mocha and spice. Expansive on the palate, the core of fine tannins and vivid acidity spreads across a soft, velvety texture and lingering, mouth watering finish.
